Kobe Bryant opens up about wife’s miscarriage
KOBE BRYANT ADMITS STRESS CAUSED HIS WIFE TO MISCARRY. By Mass Appeal News
LOS ANGELES — Mamba No. 2 almost happened. Kobe Bryant’s Colorado rape case was so stressful eleven years ago, it caused his wife Vanessa to miscarry. The Los Angeles Lakers star spilled the beans in his Showtime documentary “Muse.” Bryant was visibly shook up when describing the intense circumstances surrounding Vanessa’s miscarriage in 2004. “We were expecting … and um … expecting our second child during that time … and there was just so much stress, she actually, she actually miscarried,” said Kobe who admitted that Vanessa would’ve taken half of his cash had they divorced.

“It’s something … I have a real hard time dealing with that ’cause I felt like it was just my fault.” Kobe’s case was eventually dismissed when the female accuser refused to testify. Still, the court’s decision offered very little in the form of consolation.
“The reality is it happened because of me,” said Bryant.
“That’s something I have to deal with. Something I gotta carry forever.”
